It is the sequel to Don Bradman Cricket 14 and was released on 16 December 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on 16 January 2017 for Microsoft Windows. 1. Career mode. I'm playing as a batter only and I cannot assign some of my skill points. Perhaps I need increase my level? Anyway, moving to another tab, Bowling, Fielding etc. always causes the game to crash. Career mode could use a lot more hint text to explain its various features.
2. I have had freezes in the match results screen and one other crashes during game play. I've probably had half a dozen crashes in 3 or 4 hours. Forcing quit via Switch home button during a freeze shuts down the game and results in a crash error.
3. Very long loading times on the Switch. Not really a bug but it definitely detracts somewhat from the game, especially if you get bowled out quickly.
4. Jittery animations when fielders run for the ball. It probably doesn't affect game but it looks poor.
5. The player model doesn't always load on some of the menu screens. The head is there but not the body.
6. Sometimes the camera moves inside the player model when catching a ball during fielding.

Cricket 19 is a 2019 cricketvideo game developed by Big Ant Studios in collaboration with Maximum Games. It is the official video game of the 2019 Ashes series of cricket matches, and the (first) sequel to the 2017 game Ashes Cricket. Cricket 19 was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 28 May 2019 and similarly, some weeks later, 31 July for Microsoft Windows via the Steam client.[2][3][4] It was announced that Cricket 19 has been added to the Xbox Game Pass on October 22, 2020.[5][6]
Cricket 19 is the second Big Ant Studios cricket game released for the Nintendo Switch, the first having been Big Bash Boom.

Cricket 19 introduces a new game mode called scenario mode that allows players to begin a match in any predetermined situation.[7]The game also allows users to play through the men's ODI, T20 and test world cups, and women's ODI and T20 world cups. However, these lacked any ICC licenses. Features like match, tour and competition designers are also included which allows the user to format to their needs. The game also features a career mode which allows a player to either start a career as a rookie or play as a existing established cricketer.

Australia, Australia Women, England and England Women are fully licensed with accurate kits and player faces. Australian domestic teams are also fully licensed.[8] The game also includes licensed depictions of all host venues of the 2019 Ashes series - Edgbaston, Lord's, Headingley, Old Trafford, and The Oval. Unlicensed teams include those of India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.[9] Despite the lack of licensing, users are able to download these teams as they have been created by other users on the in-game academy.

On the review aggregator Metacritic, the PlayStation 4 version of Cricket 19 received a score of 73 out of 100, based on 13 critics, indicating 'mixed or average reviews'.[10]

Cricket 19 received critical praise for improved presentation, features and accurately representing the game of cricket, with IGN scoring it 8/10. However, it did receive some negative comments for glitches, and for being too similar to the previous Big Ant cricket game, Ashes Cricket.[11]
